Find Me Again
NARRATIVE
Description
A girl loses sight of the values that once defined her until she finds her way back to the person she used to be.
Based on my first year of college, when I felt far from myself, Johnny Orlando’s all the things that could go wrong album became the soundtrack to my return.

Since this was my first serious film project, I wanted to focus on the foundational aspects of filmmaking, such as lighting, camera movement, composition, sound design, directing, set design, and storyboarding. I decided to omit dialogue entirely and keep the storyline simple and visual.
I chose the nostalgic song “So It Begins (Interlude)” to convey the message through its lyrics. This song takes me back to my freshman year of college, when I was struggling to adjust to newfound freedom and strayed from my values, which is reflected in the girl’s journey at the beginning of the film. During that time, Johnny Orlando’s album was a constant companion as I worked to find myself again, and I wanted to capture that transition in the film.
